Creative Consultant / Executive Producer
With over 15 years of experience in the music industry, Ashley offers a comprehensive and passionate understanding of both the creative and operational sides of the business. After relocating from Glasgow to London in 2007, she began her career as an intern at renowned independent label Ninja Tune. Early roles included hosting events at newly established London venues XOYO and The Nest, before progressing into A&R as promoter and becoming one of the lead bookers for independent music promotions company Soundcrash.

From 2014 to 2018, Ashley held the position of Global Head of Events at Boiler Room, where she led a department responsible for the creative production and cultural programming of over 20 shows per month worldwide. Her work focused on developing innovative live experiences ; from grassroots to global brand campaigns, fostering worldwide connections within contemporary music culture. In parallel with her career, Ashley/ Mi Ki Mak has maintained her love of music by curating events, DJing and has been a long standing radio host, with shows previously on Radar Radio, Beats 1 and now currently NTS Radio.

Building community in unlikely territories by connecting the dots across various industries from music + entertainment, fashion, the arts + culture - from ideation to delivery with personal networks + teams across UK/ US/ EU/ Asia.
